Infectious Care Containment

We need to be ready for the next outbreak.

Novel Capsule for Infectious Treatment

Infectious Care Containment Units safely enclose infectious patients while receiving medical attention. These units ensure that medical faculty and other patients are not needlessly at risk to viral exposure—reducing the need for PPE and allowing patients time with their loved ones.

There is a way to treat infectious patients safely and humanely.

  • Health care professionals do not need to be at risk. The Infectious Care Containment Unit reduces our dependence on personal protective equipment while keeping all patients and staff safe and infections contained.

  • Units take up minimal space but allow patients the comfort to move around in a safe, enclosed, climate controlled environment. All air and bio-waste are sanitized before being released outside the unit.

  • Family and friends can visit and help patients recover faster. Patients don’t have to go it alone.

  • Patient Care & Germ Containment

With over 11 sets of strategically placed gloves, the unit protects our healthcare workers, other patients, and family members. This reduces the need for PPE, while allowing patients safe interaction with others for mental health.

  • Patient Comfort & Safety

Patients can feel safe and secure in this comfortable unit with climate control and room to get up and walk around. The bed even tilts into reverse Trendelenburg position. The pass-through chamber allows safe distribution of meds, fluids, and food.

  • Biohazard Waste

The enclosure provides a bathroom that fully sanitizes all bio-waste via an incinerator, preventing contamination during disposal, and air is sterilized before being released outside, preventing contamination outside the unit.
